April made her San Diego opera debut in 2004 with Torrey Pines Opera Theatre as Suzuki in Madama Butterfly. 
In recent seasons she sang with San Diego Opera in Boris Godunov, Samson et Dalila, Wozzeck, Tannhaeuser and Aida, and with Lyric Opera San Diego in The Daughter of the Regiment.
She starred as Adele in a highlights version of Die Fledermaus for the North County Sunday Soiree Concert Series and won first place in the Adult Division of 2007 San Diego NATS Young Artists Competition.
April also sings with Musica Vitale, an a capella chamber choir, and is a soprano section leader and soloist at Santa Sophia Catholic Church.
